Your wedding is one of the few times when you have an excuse to go all out. That is one reason I love to work with wedding invitation design. I also believe that a unique and personal creation should not cost a fortune. After five years with one of the nation’s leading wedding resources I have found great ways to keep costs low while producing a beautiful customized piece.

You can see samples of my work below. Some of my designs can be purchased in my Etsy Shop. If you see something you are interested in or would like to see what I can create for your wedding contact me at info@emilyedsondesign.com for more info.

Great for a vintage outdoor theme, this mustard card stock with rounded edges has a leaf motif and sits in a half circle pocket.

A classic version — deep purple card stock accented with metallic silver logo wrap. Inside the invitation overlays another accent of metallic silver and the inserts sit opposite. The accommodations insert features a detailed map of downtown Omaha.

SilkCrystalSubtle eggshell card stock overlays a card wrapped with mauve dupioni silk. The invitation and reception cards are accented with pale pink Swarovski Crystals.

OursChannel old world elegance with save-the-dates crafted out of handmade paper. The accordion style design is enclosed with rust-colored Lokta paper, wrapped in natural raffia and sealed with a handstamped wax seal.

GoldVellumThis modern art gallery inspired design has a gold batik printed backdrop with printed vellum overlay. The cards are held together with bronze eyelets.

SmealBold metallic paper makes this invitation stand out. The fuchsia card displays the invitation that flips open to reveal the rsvp and accommodation cards. The all in one package nicely slides into a half moon pocket displaying the couple’s custom logo at the top.

StrpRibbon

The preppy outdoorsy inspiration features a vertical ribbon wrap and is heavy on typography design.

Wedding Programs

Programs are often an afterthought, however, they shouldn’t be. Your guests will carefully look over them during your ceremony and possibly even keep one as a memento of your event. See my post Programs…never wait until the week before your wedding for more info.

Smeal2A slender booklet style program dressed up with a swirl pattern and coordinates with the invitations.

SerdaProgramThis accordion style program unfolds to highlight the days events. A map from the ceremony to the reception is also included. The program is wrapped with a paper ribbon.

GrnBlkCircleProgramThe circle motif from the invitations is carried over with this simple program. Hand punched holes along the top and bottom reveal colored paper underneath.

BorcykProgramOne of my favorites, this playful program opens up to a fan. It displays the days events while keeping guests cool. Great for an outdoor, or summer church wedding.
